I had a doctor's appointment this morning, at 8:00. As in, the FIRST appointment of the day. So I get there, get checked in, etc. and start waiting. Now being that it's the first of the day I don't expect to be there long. There should be no "falling behind" at this point.
WRONG.
9:15 I'm still sitting in the waiting room with all the other people who have since came in. UMM. Why on Earth did I have an 8:00 appointment then?! I needed to be at work. And I was seeing my precious lunch hour dwindling away.
So I finally get a room, and all I can hear in the back is the nurses getting their LUNCH orders ready. Hello,I don't even get a lunch today because they ran so late this morning that I have to work through my lunch to keep my hours current. I really dislike lazy, slow people.
So I finally get to see the doctor and no lie, I'm out of there in less than 10 minutes. It's so frustrating. I have to go pretty regular to the doctor, for the same thing. So they knew WHY I was there and that it was going to take no time. In fact, I don't even need the doctor to see me...
UGH! Some days just don't start off right.. this has been one for me.
Here's the hoping the day gets better!
OHHHH, and I just called animal control on my neighbors..

ReplyDeleteluhh you!
It's almost FRIDAY! :)
ReplyDeleteThat is so frustrating, I can't even imagine how P.O.'d I would have been. I always worry that that will happen to me anytime I have an appointment. Hope your day has turned around since then girl!
ReplyDeleteBecause of this..I almost got kicked out of our family doctor. I hate when they do this. They run on their own schedule.
ReplyDeleteI never understand waiting forever and then being seen for like 5 min! It annoys me.
ReplyDeleteOh how I hate that! I totally wouldn't have made it to 9:15 though! Hope your day got better!
