5 on Friday!

 

Whew! We had it to Friday! Is anyone else as relieved as me?  Some weeks are just loooooooong, and this was one of them!  I'm hoping I'm on the verge of a productive weekend.  I have plans to clean out the closet(s) in the house as well as the kitchen cabinets.  My mom and I will be having a yard sale next weekend and I want to remove as much "clutter" as I can (and try to make a few bucks!)

1// This man of mine.  He continues to show me endless love, respect, and admiraton.  He's a wonderful husband.  Lately, he and I have been working in/around the house.  It's so nice to have a partner in life that you can do things with other than just call him your husband.  Brian is my best friend.  There's not a day that goes by that I don't pray and thank God for allowing me to be the one that gets to spend my life beside him.

 

 

2// I went for my weekly lunch date with mom Wednesday and I got these babies to try.  I must say they are SO good that I will getting them again on my next trip to Subway.  And look at that, 40% less fat.  Hey, it made me feel better at the time. Don't judge.

 

 

 

 

3// You can't tell me this didn't make you laugh. LOL.  Someone had this on Facebook one night and I HAD to screenshot it and save it.  I get tickled every time I look at it.  And it's an reminder, I don't wanna end up like poor Big Deborah!

 

 

 

4// The word.  Need I say more?  I love my time when I can sit and read in God's Word.  It's always refreshing to see Him working right in front of our eyes.  I have plans to start a new reading plan this weekend so be looking for more information on that and follow along with me!

 

 

 

5// My heart just exploded.  Enough said.

1// This was me last Sunday morning before work. After posting this to Twitter, I was told I looked like The Bloggess.  I'd say that's a pretty cool compliment! 2// I have this quote saved in my camera roll on my phone. I love it. 3// Brians truck tried to die on us this week.  But never fear, me and this sexy man got it back going. Maybe mechanic work as a second job. No?! 4// Lunch with this silly kid is always a hoot.  I'm just not sure who has more fun with the selfies.

It has been awhile since I did a Five on Friday with the gorgeous , so it's GOOD to be back!

First off, HELLO FRIDAY. I've missed you since last Friday.  #truestory

I promise, the weeks are getting waaaay longer than they used to be.  Or is this a sign of getting old?! Either way, hello Friday.

1// Organized desk station.  I just love how all the items are in their very own place.  I need more of this in my desk at my home AND work stations.   

  

2// Mello Yello is seriously my favorite.  I had been craving one for awhile.  #satisfaction 

 3// Sea salt spray.  I have been wanting to try this out for such a long time.  My sweet friend, Cassie, was a darling and got me some while she was at the store.  I can't wait to try it out! Review soon!

 4// Enough said.  I just love it.  Pinterest has the funniest things, ever.  You can find my Laughs board for more!

 5// Hairstyle.  I'm debating cutting my hair.  I probably really won't go through with it for awhile, but when I am a mommy I know I will want something similar to this look.  Yes, I am planning a haircut for sometime in the next year or so.  I'm a little bit OCD about planning things. LOL!

1 // I picked up this dry shampoo at Ulta last weekend.  It's made for brown hair, so I was sold from first sight.  So far, I've used it once and I love it!

1 // I entered Brian and I's picture into a promotional event on Twitter, sponsored by Axe, and look who made it to the big screen in NEW YORK CITY!  Sorry, the picture isn't the best but look through that blur and that's me and the husband!   2 // I posted about Parental Love this week.  This is one of my dearest pictures from My Wedding Day.   3 // I worked more on researching items to help promote Mississippi Mrs. this week, and I'm excited to watch this little spot grow!    
 4 // The BAS boys (BAS is all their initials in case you are new here!) had their final games this week.  I'm sad to see it go.   I love watching their abilities at the different age levels.  Love me some basketball and BAS boys! [ Photo credit: Lindsey Jenkins ]  
 5 // Speaking of basketball, Blake's team WON.  It was an intense game from the start and I'm super proud of him and all he accomplished this season at Jericho Basketball!      

  I'm so glad this week is coming to an end.  It's seemed long to me, and COLD.  I am thinking that warm weather got lost somewhere.  This just proves even more that I do indeed to move to the Virgin Islands.  Or at least get a long, good vacation.  Valentine's is coming, husband.  *hint, hint.*   So, with it being Friday, I'm ready to head home and kick back in my pajamas and watch some TV and hoard some more Pinterest ideas.  I really have an addiction, I think.   Other than church, my only plans to leave the house are possibly a small shopping trip with my mother.  She has been sick this past week, so I'm not sure she will feel up to it or not.  However, if she does, I am planning on going comfy.  Below is my ideal outfit for this weekend.  And I think it's all actually clean and hung in the closet! Shocker!

  I'm back for my second week of 5 on Friday!   1// There's baby Kayla.  (See, I've sported these long locks for awhile.) 2// A sweet picture of my mother in law, myself, and my mother at the rehearsal dinner when I presented them their personalized handkerchiefs. :) ((Thanks to my sweet sister-in-law for the picture!)) 3// Lunch.  And not just any ole lunch.  My husband works half days on Tuesday, so lunch time this past Tuesday I came home to find my lunch made, with a cute little note on top! 4// A snapshot from our wedding.  :) 5// Seriously, it's the weirdest/most annoying thing EVER but you need to go hear this song.  Our nephews LOVE it. :)  And now, well, so do I. :)

  This week was fun: 1// I started a new Dave Ramsey book, my first one ever.  #loveit #wantmore 2// Brian and I got new internet since the old one didn't have enough strength to power ALL out devices.  #socialmediahogs 3// Jenna got a new puppy.  Everyone, meet Max.:) 4// My new blog launced.  Keeping Up With Kayla just wasn't me anymore.  I'm back, revamped and ready for the the blogworld again. #motivated 5// Jenna held me to my promise and we went shopping for Max some clothes.
