October Goals

Comments (5)

I am so excited that it is October.  This is my favorite month of the year, and of course, my anniversary month.  I am truly happy to see what God has in store for me during this month.

o  Create the mandatory sappy wedding anniversary post.

o  Pumpkin patch

o  Decorate the home for Fall

o  Spend more time off the social media wagon.  Life comes first.

What's on your list this month? I'd love to hear!

September Goals

Comments (9)

Fall is coming, ya'll!  And can you believe it's already the first day of September? That means it's time for another monthly goal post.  But first, let's revisit August and see what happened.
  • Edit old blog posts.
  • Update pictures / links
  • Develop my media kit
  • Re-open sponsorships
  • Filter e-mail / contact information
  • Drink more water I did good with this one!
  • Start working out on a regular basis
  • Keep my devotional study up to date
  • Wake up earlier for devotional time
  • Schedule anniversary photo shoot I'm SO pumped about this one!
  • Re-vamp front porch

Okay, so I didn't do good at all for the month of August.  But I'm not going to put too much pressure on myself because 1) We were hardly home until bedtime because of ballgames and various other things. 2) I had a wreck and had to deal with all the joys of that so blogging was on the back-burner awhile. 3) I was EXHAUSTED.  So when I actually got to stay at home, I slept.

  • All items from August
  • Work through old blog posts and relabel items
  • Work on my Christmas List

I'm going to leave it with only three "new" tasks, so I won't feel so overwhelmed to get everything done.

What's on your list for the month?

Mississippi Mrs

It's been awhile since I put up a goal post, but it's time to get back on the accountability track. Mississippi Mrs has became my second job, therefore I want to make the most of this month will blog-related tasks.

  • Edit old blog posts.
  • Update pictures / links
  • Develop my media kit
  • Re-open sponsorships
  • Filter e-mail / contact information
And of course, it can't be a wasted month on boring things.  So let's have a little fun...

  • Drink more water
  • Start working out on a regular basis
  • Keep my devotional study up to date
  • Wake up earlier for devotional time
  • Schedule anniversary photo shoot
  • Re-vamp front porch

This month is also one that holds two special birthdays to me.  My mom, and Jenna.  So there will be lots of birthday happenings.  I can't wait.

What does your month look like? Any special goals?

Hello, March!

March, already?!  Wow.  Is it just me or is time FLYING?

Last month, I posted my February Goals. Even though I didn't get them all completed, it was definitely something I want to continue here at MS Mrs.  It is a great way to keep me accountable.

"Setting goals is the first step in turning the invisible to the visible." -Tony Robbins

One// No junk food for the month.  This isn't something I can really argue with since my doctor has me on a diet. But I like knowing I can add this one, and beat it.  Yes, I admit it.

Two// Exercise 4 times per week.  This again is doctor's orders, but not something I can easily do. I'm not much into working out.  I never have been much of a fitness pro.  This will be HARD work for me, for sure.

Three// Complete my office re-design. I'm not sure if this means painting too, but it for sure means cleaning out and de-cluttering.

Four// Sell some items I'm no longer using.  I have been making a pile in the extra bedroom.  It is time for it to go.  I can't stand the mess anymore.

Five// Finally move all Christmas items into storage.  It's true.  I don't have them out as decorations anymore, but they are sitting in that messy spare bedroom and I need them to be out of sight.ha!

Do you have any special goals for March?

Ps. I have one "extra" one.  Celebrate my birthday in style! The big 3-0!
