Who likes Sweet Tea?

If you answered yes, then you are about to love it more.  Today I have Megan from More Sweet Tea, Please? and I can't even tell you how thrilled I am that she agreed to do this for me.  Megan is a complete sweetheart and I have really enjoyed getting to know her and her sweet little family.  Do yourself a favor and read this blog entry from her.  You are going to love it.

I've read time and time again about girls who found a friendship via blogs and I can sit here and tell you, I know what it's like.  Megan and I seem similar is SO many ways and I hope one day we can meet up!

Well, don't let me hold her up any longer... here's my beautiful friend, Megan.

Fall Traditions!
Hey everyone....I am super excited about getting to do a guest post for sweet Kayla while she is on a wonderful vacation! My name is Megan Cohn and my blog is More Sweet Tea Please? My Sweet Life In The Bootheel! - You should check it out! :)

So, the last few days here the weather has been AMAZING!!! The high yesterday was 71 and the skies are so clear! I love this time of year! Since it has finally decided to turn cooler it has gotten me very excited about all the fall traditions!

* Scented Candles - I went out yesterday and bought several fall scented candles! The smells are amazing..It just makes the house smell so cozy!  Woodwick Pumpkin Butter, Pier 1 Spiced Cake, and the Febreeze Autumn Spice!

* Food- Food is one of my favorite things anyways but I love fall and winter food! Chili, Taco Soup, Cider, Starbucks Pumpkin Latte,  Pumpkin Rolls, and of course the Fair is coming up so all the Fair food - Corn dogs, funnel cakes, cotton candy, hamburgers- I will gain about 5lbs. during the week of the fair!  Talking about Chili, I know everyone does their chili different and I love trying new things..I do mine with fritos on the bottom, top with chili, add cheese, and then add a small scoop of sour cream! Enjoy! Do you put anything special on you chili?

* Pictures- since my little boy Jagger has been born, we have made it tradition to find the most beautifully colored tree in town and take his picture in the leaves! I always try to wait until the leaves fall on the ground so he can sit in them! The pictures turn out gorgeous!

* Decorations- I love pulling out all of my fall decorations! I use tons of pumpkins everywhere! I go all out on the front porch with bails of hay and lots of pumpkins! I am trying to find a new centerpiece for my table! I am thinking the best bet is to make my own! Pinterest has given me some wonderful ideas!
*Football- my family loves football! College, NFL, and highschool! We go the high school games on Friday night, watch college on Saturdays, and then NFL on Sunday and Monday! I was at Wal-Mart the other day and was so happy when I found the Ritz Crackers that have the football on them! super cute! Our Teams are Arkansas Razorbacks, Auburn Tigers ( our cousin, Justin is there for his first year, so we have to cheer for them!), Mississippi BullDogs (my sister-in-law is in her first year there), Mizzou Tigers( my other sister-in-law is there)! I know its nuts with all the schools but my heart will always be with the Razorbacks! Go Hogs!!!!!!! and then my NFL team is the New Orleans Saints!
* Halloween- I have never really been a huge fan of Halloween but have truly enjoyed it since we have had Jagger! I loved finding his costume...Last year he had a blast dressed up as a shark, so I know this year will be even better! We don't go trick-or-treating because our church has a HUGE trunk-or-treat where thousands of people come to our church and get to trick-or-treat from about 25 different car trunks that are all decorated with different themes! Its alot of fun!
What are your favorite fall traditions?
Hope everyone has a blessed day!
